Beverwjeck – Sunday 11th October 2015

Divers: Ben, Nick, Spike and Youri
The great diving conditions of the past few weeks keep continuing, flat seas, 20m visibility. Today we headed out to the Beverwijk, a steel hulled suction cutter dredge which lies in 46m of water. There is still a lot of the pumping gear on it as well as the suction pipe on the bow section. We descended down to have a look at the impressive axle and wheels before we headed to the wreck. In 25 minutes we were able to do a full lap with some nice sections of penetration too.
Some divers in our team were using both a 50% sling and a 100% sling for the first time. They managed the switches very well. We all were very excited afterwards, these were the best conditions I ever had on the Beverwijk. Lets hope the good conditions keep going.
cheers
Youri
