Sangat Island Resort is made up of a 300 metre long stretch of pure white sand beachfront surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and majestic coconut palms ….postcard perfect tropical waters teaming with rainbows of aquatic life…and eleven historical significant WW11 shipwrecks just minutes from your doorstep.
Your day starts off with a scrumptious breakfast, followed by your first dive of the day. 32degree water 20 metre viz and no current makes for a very easy and relaxing dive. The dive sites are very close, no more than 30 minutes, so after about 2 hours out on the water you are now back at the resort having a snooze in your hammock or perhaps lazying in the deckchair on your front deck, or perhaps having a swim in the turquoise blue water right out the front of your room prior to sitting down to another ample lunch. The afternoon dive again is stress free, a short boat ride, great dive sites and lazily easy conditions. We are always back at the resort by early afternoon, a quick wash down of your dive gear at the dive shop another snooze prior to pre dinner drinks with neighbours on the deck, finished off with another gorgeous tropical island evening meal. Being a tropical island there is no ‘town’ to go to so we sit in the bar chatting with other guests or perhaps have cool drinks sitting on the beach.
