Rye Pier – Sunday 8th November 2015

Divers:  Tony, Lachlan, Steve, Taina, Michael, Thomas, Melissa, Rachel, Patrick, Bert & Mark

We were meet with almost perfect diving conditions as we wandered down the pier to check out our dive site for today. An early-ish start meant we not only got the best car parks but we also got the best of the dive conditions all to ourselves, during our  dive we had the giant stingray visit us swimming in and around the group for several minutes. The warmer water also means the fish life is back with plenty going on around the pier these days. We also had time to swim out to Elser’s Reef. By the time we had finished for the day there were several teams of divers in the water and plenty more in the car park kitting up. A report from Warren tells us that the viz out on the Canberra yesterday was 25 metres, I cant wait for our boat dives this coming Saturday – the long range forecast is really looking good!!!
