Portsea Hole – Saturday 26th April 2014

Divers: Keith, Andrew, Ben & Mark

Easter is based on the cycle of the moon and because of this, the tides are always Spring tides around Easter. This was very evident as we sat and waited and waited for slack water, however once we did get in the conditions were quite good, the viz was around 8-10 metres and the water temperature is still around16 degrees. We had some skills to complete so we dropped to the bottom at 32 metres, completed what we needed to and then started our ascent. On the ebb tide we drifted towards Quarantine Station before being picked up, then it was off to lunch for a debrief.
