Our planned dive of the J1 Sub, just to help get back up to speed with our skills, was canned due to the weather. So to help make the best of the situation, we asked the boat if we could get a Portsea Hole dive running. For some months now we have be talking about doing a Portsea Hole dive in an attempt to locate the small wreck that was ‘scuttled’ in the Hole back in the 80’s. Conditions weren’t perfect, but certainly diveable & the experience level of the team certainly were fine to handle the conditions. Unfortunately, we didn’t find it, but at the end of the day everyone is now feeling better about doing some of our deeper dives that we run during winter.
