After we had such poor viz last Sunday on our shore dives, I was so happy that the guys got some great conditions to for our boat dives. Our first dive was at Portsea Hole, the viz was about 15m, the shot line was place just perfectly for us. So after we settle down on the bottom we are then able swim out over the wall, making the most of the conditions. Drifting gently along the wall it’s amazing the amount of fish life we come across. Although this site drops down to 30metres, definitely all the action is in the 15 – 20m range. Popes Eye, although a small site it too is action packed with aquatic life. We get all the usual suspects, Leather Jackets, Blue Throated Wrasse, Long Snouted Boarfish, Old Wives, Scaly Fins and many more.
