Party Point & Quarantine Bay Drift – Sunday 5th January 2020

Divers: Bec, Tom, Myles, Michael, Xavier, Dale, John, Russell, Lachlan, Valentin, Bert & Mark

We are at the end of the flood & the great viz reflects the benefits of working the tides. Our dive is just amazing, we drop over the wall onto some ledges that are covered with soft corals and teaming with fish. With 20m viz, keeping our large group together is easy. We drift along the wall with the ebb until our time is up and we have to ascend. Our second dive was Quarantine Bay, this dive always offers the excitement of finding a treasure. Although not necessarily a ‘real’ treasure in the sense of maritime archaeological find, but to each of us that find a small bottle or a piece of broken crockery, we have our own treasure.
