Mornington Pier – Sunday 3rd February 2013

Divers: Will, Jack, Luke, Gaz, Kirsten, Luke, Brenden & Mark

With the dive conditions so good yesterday Mornington was defiantly the place to be Sunday, the conditions were about the same with the viz possibly getting better. Once again the fish life was at the end of the pier well away from the fisherman & we even had a visit from the giant Bull Ray. I had another dig in my bottle hole but it only surrended the one milk bottle this time. Maybe it’s time to start in another location. This weekend we are out on boats both days but I don’t think it will long before we’re back here as the dives have been so good. Just remember when diving at Mornington Pier that you must swim at the surface until you are past the fishing boats as the water is too shallow to be on the bottom when the yachts sail in which they often do.
