J4 Sub – Sunday 29th April 2018

Divers:  Foti, Anton, Daren, Pete, Kim & Mark

After a couple of false starts we finally get to some wreck dives, the weather was fine and the seas good. With a slight swell running we decided to can the Canberra and do two dives on the J4 Sub. This turned out to be a good move, although there was some surge on the sub it was certainly manageable and this would not have been the case had we dived the Canberra. The viz was about 8-10 metres, the water temperature is 16 degrees which is still quite pleasant. After a slow cruise around the outside of the sub, we are checking out some of the more obscure objects around the sub. It is now time to start our ascent, we send up our SMBs and start the journey to the surface.
