Conditions were only getting better as the day wore on and our good viz
continued to please everyone on the boat. The conning tower was our first point
of interest & I always enjoy looking down through the hatch at the ladder
that the submariners would use to enter & exit the sub. We then swam around
the bow, where the torpedo tubes are always a highlight for those that have not
done this dive before. The surge, although not great, was such that only the
more experienced divers (Mike & Simon) penetrated the wreck for the rest of
us we were happy just to cruise the outside making notes of entry & exit
points for when we return on hopefully a calmer day to do our tour of the
inside of the sub.
