Flinders Pier – Sunday 3rd February 2019

Divers: Marcos, Chenxu, Ash, Nakira, Rod, Jyoti, Bec, Kieran, Chris, Chris E & Mark

The forecast was for 37 degrees, Flinders Pier was always going to be busy and with good reason too. It is just such a great dive site. There were swimmers, snorkelers, divers, photographers, fisherman, walkers, boaties & families all taking advantage of the perfect conditions. The carpark was full at 11.00am, fortunately fr us we had an early start and avoided the crowd. The Weedy’s were scarce, and each Weedy had a dozen divers checking it out, snapping away with their cameras. The fish life was amazing, I’ve never seen it like this before, with some big Flatties out off the very end of the pier, schools of fish everywhere – a great introduction to diving for our Open Water divers.
