Divers: Andrew, Nick, Spike, Pete, Ben, Youri & Mark

The fog was rolling in as I drove along the freeway to Portsea, the weather forecast had been looking great all week & a light fog just tops it off. The low viz is still with us although getting better each week. The Fawkner is one of the sites that SOE work on as a project to identify it. Prior to the positive id it was often called the Batman or the Dunloe. Even in the low viz we still enjoyed the dive, there is plenty to see as our torch beams flash from side to side over the tangle metal. The shot line had been drop at the boilers & Andrew & I spend most of our dive investigating here and around the stern area.
