Ahh the joy of diving in Melbourne’s spring. After being greeted by a beautiful sunrise at the Portsea Pier we arrived at our dive site, the Farside on the Lonsdale Wall to witness wind, rain and choppy seas. Fortunately for us the conditions beneath the waves were way more pleasant, with reasonable visibility and a gentle current for us to practice our skills from our Advanced Nitrox course. An enjoyable dive despite the weather but as we discussed over a hot chocolate debrief this is all about practice, learn and practice again so that we get to where we want to be.
