We have waited quite a while for really good conditions, but it was certainly worth the wait!! The Eliza Ramsden can be a difficult site to get to dive due to the fact that it sits so close to the shipping channel. However, conditions could not have been better & we were on the end of a flood tide which always makes for ther best viz. I could see the wreck from the surface, the shot was at the bow & with the gentle end of the flood still running the line laid back over the wreck in an ideal position. We dropped down onto the stern and started to make our way up to the bow. Our plan was to swim out to the plinth, give it a bit of scrape and then head back to the wreck. Then we swam along the starboard side, up the gunnels and into the wreck, making our way to the stern. We arrive at the stern just in time to start our ascent. This was a one in a million dive, you just don’t get this every day but when we do we are sure going to make the most of it!!
