Once again a team from Aquability packed their dive kit and caught the Ferry to Tassie. In over 28 years of diving here we have had only 2 years were the dive conditions were not great for diving. This year they were as good as ever! Eagle Hawk Neck has some amazing diving, something for everyone from newly qualified to the most experienced of tech divers. There are some ‘must do’ dives like the wreck of the Nord, the Sea Caves and Seals and there are a variety of Walls and Reefs that are absolutely spectacular, Sisters, the Thumbs and Deep Glen Bay to name a few. The one wreck dive that is on every tech divers list is the SS Tasman, this wreck is very difficult to get on to and the dive operator is very selective about who gets to dive it due to it being such a delicate site. We had two of our divers, Ben and Youri, get the opportunity to dive it this trip. After 3 attempts to get on to the wreck over past couple of years to dive it this trip was some thing special for the guys. Of course there was plenty for the surface crew to do as well, with the Chocolate Factory, markets and wineries to visit they ran out time before they ran out of ideas!
