Dragon’s Lair – Saturday 12th January 2013

Divers:  Trevor, Jan, Deon, Emily, Bec, Vikki & Mark

With such good diving conditions lately, I must say we were a little disappointed in the 5-7 metre viz at Dragon’s Lair. But I guess we can’t expect it great all the time, although it would be nice. With the viz down, our focus was on the macro items and we did manage to find a most unusual Nudibranch.
It was very small, purple in colour and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one like before!  It looked like a Ceratosoma brevicaudatum however the colour was more consistent and very deep purple. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the next trip out to Dragon’s Lair to see if we can get some answers.
