The Grotto – Friday 13th March 2015

Divers: Lyn, Hong & Mark

What better way to start the day than a dive on Lonsdale Wall, the sea conditions were great, the sun was just starting to rise as we left the jetty and we had 25 metre viz. We didn’t need to move far to see plenty action, we had an array of larger fish including some fantastic Blue Devils, Blue Throated Wrasse and a couple of very large Sea Salmon, not to mention the Cuttlefish. Once we left he shot line we were surrounded by huge rock formations & overhangs. Even doing our 10m stop we are only in 14 metres of water & for most of the safety stop had a great view of the bottom. Coffee after the dive was spent reviewing our collective videos, hence learning the names of the fish :).
