SS Nord Saturday 16th April 2022

Divers: Seb, James, Nathan & Clara

Ben, Youri & myself had made another unsuccessful attempt at diving the SS Tasman. Once on site all looked good until we put in the shot line& the current just about dragged the buoy underwater. I estimated that the current was about 4 knots at least. Although not good for us it did men the boys would get to dive the Nord before the wind picked up & the swell started to roll in. The Nord is always a great dive & the amazing viz just makes it even better. The boys saw some very large shadows off in the distance whilst they were doing their deco, on reporting this to Mick the boat skipper, he said there have been reports of two Blue Whales in the area!!
