With the great dive conditions continuing we headed out at the break of dawn to be treated with flat seas & good viz once again. The Sir Willy Mac is dredge that pumped spoil into a dumb barge, it was greatly used in the works conducted at Appleton Dock. Some of the original timber decking stills survives today and although it has collapse quite a lot since I first dived it some 15 years ago, it is still in remarkable good condition. The heavy deck equipment that once worked the mechanics of the ship is still as solid as every & I think this site will be around for a long time to come.
