Rotomahana – 28th January 2012

Divers: Keith, Louise, Youri, Push, Ben, Jason, Chris & Mark

A sleek vessel with beautiful lines and a clipper bow that was well know both in NZ & Oz as being fast and comfortable. She had a long career by ship standards and it was considered by many at the time of her sinking that this was the end of an era. The main feature when diving the Rotomahana is the 4 large boilers in the centre of the ship, which replaced the original 6 boilers, the Roto is large enough that it is difficult to see the entire site if you are having a bit of a look around and there is plenty to look at.
