Once again we sent a team out to search for the small paddle steamer, Reliance, lost off the coast of Cape Shank in 1869. Although we had no luck in finding her (again), but we dived another possible site and can now cross that off our list of targets. The conditions could not have been better with the sun shinning and flat clear water, the dive did produce a really nice bommie for the next time we want to do a reef dive, as we ate our counter lunch at the Kings Creek Hotel everyone agreed that although we didn’t get the result we wanted, it was a great day out on the water.
