Portsea Hole – Saturday 1st April 2017

Our second dive was changed to Portsea Hole due the large swells coming in through the Heads, but you wouldn’t have know it at Portsea Hole, here things were fine. We waited until everyone was off the boat before we entered the water, this meant we hit the bottom just as the current was dropping to nothing, using our newly gained buoyancy skills we swam over the edge of the wall and then, at first, swimming to the west until the tide had completely turned, then swimming east until we almost reached the other end of the wall.
Now its time to send up an SMB and start our ascent.
