Pope’s Eye & Waterfalls – Saturday 22nd December 2018

Divers: Ian, Gerri & Mark

The 11.00am departure was very welcomed (we had the street xmas party last night) and the conditions were perfect, once again. The ambient temperature was 18 degrees and the water temperature was 18 degrees, viz was 15m – 20m at times. Pope’s Eye was dived on the flood tide which meant diving the northern side, I prefer the south side, but it was still a really good dive. We has seals and plenty offish life as we just sat and watched the world go by. The Waterfalls is a great part of the wall & has some thing for everyone, we were happy in the 15-18m range, where others preferred the deeper depths of the drop off.
