Lady Cheryl – 15th September 2013

Divers: Gary, Louise, Keith & Mark

The lady Cheryl was a fishing boat that sank whilst trying to exit through Port Phillip Bay Heads, and although in the conditions on the day it possibly should never have been there it is a reminder to us all that the area we dive so often at times can be unforgiving. So next time the boat skipper cancels your dive spot for another, just remember the Lady Cheryl.
It is certainly a dive worth doing, with its location so close to the Heads it is a slack water dive so dive time is limited, but there is plenty to see and although not large i think there is quite a few dives required to see it all.
