We have waited so long to do these dives, that there was a real buzz on the boat about doing this dive. It was nice just to be standing on Portsea Pier early on a Saturday morning. September traditionally is the start of the diving season in Melbourne, so it was nice to get this weekend of great weather and it showed with the number of divers on the boat. The sea conditions were fantastic, the viz was good and with minimal current the conditions were very suitable for a first dive back. After a 90 minute surface interval we completed our second dive, although we had more surge on this dive the dive conditions were still good.
