Canberra – 26th November 2011

Divers: Michael, Pete, Mel, Denis & Mark

My, how things can change. Our second dive of the day was on the Canberra, after the morning dives it was just assumed that the afternoon dives would be just as good. However when we were heading out to the Canberra the wind started to pick up just a few knots, but this made the surface conditions a little bit lumpy. By the time we entered the water the viz was down to about 7-8 metres and the surge was just picking up to the point that it was becoming quite noticeable. The dive was still a great dive and swimming down through opening and around every corner we covered a fair piece of the ship before popping out right at the very bow.
