Campana – Saturday 19th January 2019

Divers: Spike, Simon, Youri, Ben, Tim and Mark

The weather could have gone either way this morning, fortunately for us it just got better and better. The viz was about 5m as we descended, although once at 30m the temperature dropped form 19 degrees to 14 degrees and the viz went from 5 to 35m. The bow and stern are the main points of interest on the Campana and this where we spent the most time, however as with most shipwrecks the are always a few ‘nuggets of gold’ if you look hard enough. We had to limit our dive time due to shipping, but 25 minutes at 56m is long enough for us to really enjoy the dive. Breakfast was at Rusty’s (one of or regulars) which also never disappoints.
