Blairgowrie Jetty – Sunday 8th February 2015

Divers: Pete, Giullian, George, Travis, Leo, Peter, Tony, Kym, Kristian,Elise, Emily, Michael & Mark

The club divers had to cancel their dive the day before because of the conditions, so we were only a 50% chance of diving. However the conditions turned out to be OK, the viz was down a little to about 6 metres but I think that may have had something to do with the number of divers at Blairgowrie, it was a rather busy Sunday morning. We had a couple of great dives, the tide had turned in between dives but was still very mild. There was plenty to see & with own special Marine Biologist in our group for once we knew just what it is that we are looking at!  The water temperature is still up around the 20 degree mark & 2 very comfortable 50 minute dives pass very quickly, then a  dozen or so very excited divers head off to lunch and a few cool drinks to mull over the days diving. What a day it had been, some of our team were new to Blairgowrie but I’m sure this wont be their last dive here.
