Blairgowrie Jetty – Saturday 9th June 2012

Visibility: Fantastic!!                        Water Temperature: 14 Degrees

Divers :Michael, Puspendu, Mark, Vikki

Yes, you read correctly, the water temperature was a balmy 14 degrees! You might think that sounds a bit chilly, but compared to the temperature on land Saturday morning, it was much warmer in the water than out. I understand that some have you have gone into hibernation for the winter, but honestly, you can’t beat the fantastic water conditions that we can get in winter. Down at Blairgowrie Jetty last Saturday was one of those diamonds of days with water that was as flat as a cat, clarity that was second to none, and no current.
Pylons thriving with magnificent sea anemones, soft corals, sea squirts, Octopus in a bottle, Fiddler Rays, school of Whiting, Seahorses and a variety of Nudibranchs. If you haven’t been in the water for a while consider climbing back into your wetsuit and joining us for a dive….You won’t regret it and you’ll feel fabulous!!
