After some suggestion that the site we are diving as the Wareatea may not in fact be the Wareatea, we decided to set out to try and confirm that the ship wreck we dive as the Wareatea is in fact the Wareatea. The goal of the dive was to measure the ships length and the beam and to take as much footage as possible. Due to less then optimal surface conditions we lost a fair bit of time getting the team at the shot line. We had to cut the runtime short and hence we were only not able to measure the beam accurately enough to be of any help and measuring the length was totally out of the question in such conditions. However, as always we will reschedule until better conditions allow us to complete our task.
