Divers:  Sara, Andrew, Michael & Mark

The Tall Ship ‘Enterprize’ was motoring in to dock along side Rye Pier as we walked down the jetty to drop our dive flag into the water and check out the dive conditions. She was not under sail as there was not a breath of wind, and it made me think if the crew on board this majestic ship were aware of the other sailing ship,the one that meet its end at Rye Pier – the ‘Evian’. Conditions could not have been better as we did our Giant stride off the low water, swimming to the end of the pier we are greeted by the giant bull ray the frequents the pier, 10 metre viz and an overcast day make the diving easy, hopefully the long range forecast holds out, we may have even better conditions next saturday.
