Nepean Wall – 14th January 2012

Divers: James & Mark

Another early start, but once again we get the good conditions!! The issue of the lack of slack continues to haunt us. James & I are the first divers in, we drop down the shot line, only to see it drifting in the current beside the wall, at least we are at the wall and are able to drop down the required 45metres using the wall as a visual reference, once we get to our depth we decide to cut our bottom time short knowing that others divers
will have missed the wall completely and that perhaps the boat would have enough issues to deal with without us being in the water for nearly an hour. The advantage of being on a training dive I guess, is that so long as you meet your course requirements and the objective completed the dive is still a success even if it is shorter than we would have liked.
