Our plan was hang out on the outside of the sub and give the other divers a chance to swim through before we entered the wreck, this would give us the sub to ourselves, well just about anyway. The plan worked, as we entered the sub via the engine room opening we swam towards the bow with only one other team of divers in there with us, making our through the maze of bent and twisted metal that once was strong and sturdy boat. We had time to swim the entire length of the sub and exit through the Torpedo Room. The J5 sub really seems to be taking a battering; now that the pressure hull has been compromised I think unfortunately the deterioration will see this as the sub we lose first.
