The George Kermode is not a dive site that is dived often, because the dives are run out of Flinders, but I think some times we forget just how good this dive is. A Bucket Dredge that is completely upside down and with a lot of really good penetration in only 20 metres of water. Last time Aquability arranged to do this dive we did one dive on the Kermode & then did a reef dive just off Seal Rocks, with most divers saying they would have preferred to do the second dive on the Kermode as well, so this time we did just that. Some of the tekkies decided they would do one long dive on the site & with using Nitrox 40 they were able to do a 90 minute dive with virtually no deco. For most of us we did two dives with about 45 minutes surface interval, the conditions were good, the viz was about 8-10 metres and there was a small amount of surge. I think thos will be on the schedule for us in the not too distant future.
