Flinders Pier – Saturday 9th August 2014

Divers: Geoff, George & Mark

We had planned on diving at Rye Pier and although the conditions weren’t all that bad, we had decided to change sites, because we wanted to enjoy not endure the dive. What a great choice it turned out to be, the conditions could not have been better, flat seas, 12-14 metres viz, an abundance of fish life and the water temperature is up to 14 degrees. We had dozens of Weedy Sea Dragons, Red Mullet, Ornate Cow fish, Puffer Fish, a huge Ray and plenty more. The carpark was full of divers as we were getting changed, however we didn’t see one other diver under the water, getting to enjoy these great conditions all to our selves. My only regret, I didn’t take my camera!!!
