Boarfish Reef – Saturday 8th December 2012

Divers:  Ben, Georgia, Shaun, Daniel, Laura & Mark

We were diving the end of a flood tide so the viz was always going to ok, and we weren’t disappointed – 15 plus metres. I had told the guys that Melbourne diving was better than anything they had up North, but I don’t think they believed me. Not until we did this dive anyway, the water was clear and the fish life was abundant, we didn’t need to move very far from the shot line to see the huge array of aquatic life. I find Boarfish Reef to be one of those sites that  sometimes you get dropped in an area that’s a bit flat but other times if you get dropped in good area it can absolutely fantastic!! We had swim throughs & overhangs, ledges, gutters and plenty of bommies to swim around, I’m sure after this dive they’ll be back for more.
