Divers: Dave, Chris G, Ruby, Alan, Denise, Martin, Chris Q, Youri, Vikki, Pete, Jacob, Diane, Matt, Alli, & Mark
VEST had been given the task of measuring the swimming pool on the Coolidge, team leader Dave & his 2-IC Chris Q put the plan into place to achieve the required objective. So, off set a team of 4 divers complete with tapes in hand & they descended to the pool to start their mission. In only 4 minutes the expertise of the VEST team had once again been proven - invaluable data had been gathered and recorded for the better of mankind. This valuable data will now allow us to end the hours of debate each night over thousands of Tasker's as to what size pool could a 20K tonne ship have!!
Another team dived the keel to look for the explosion hole created when the ship hit the fatal mine on 26 October 1942. Although a lot of stuff has been stolen from the ship it was nice to see that a Captains Side arm is here to see.
