SS President Coolidge - Vanuatu 10th July

Divers: Dave, Chris G, Dimiti, Ruby, Greg, Alan, Denise, Martin, Chris Q, Youri, Vikki & Mark
Diver: Pete, Jacob, Matt, Alli & Dimiti

Another team get to the stern again this morning & others are doing some deep peno. We have now located the name President Coolidge across the back, also with another dive into Cargo Hold 7 we find the spare prop blade, apparently there another 2 that have not been found yet. Our second dive is to the Engine Room & then a long swim back through B Deck gets us back to the bow, a quick look at the Port anchor then up the line to start our off gassing.
The other team did a night dive tonight & therefore had to sit out the afternoon dive. They started their night dive heading down the line to the bow, swimming along the starboard side & dropping down over the deck to 40 metres, swimming through Cargo Hold 2, then through a couple of tight restrictions & then to an Avatar Moment!! - experiencing thousands of Flashlight Fish lighting up the entire room. What's makes night diving a little bit different in Vanuatu is that you are NOT allowed to use a torch!! A night dive is just that, a night dive - done in complete darkness!!
