Dive Report: Rye Scallop Beds Saturday 27th November 2010

Our last dive for the 2010 Winter Diving Program was a boat dive out to the Rye Scallop Beds. Because Dive Vic picked us up from the Rye Pier it was a very short boat trip to the scallop beds. Scallops were plentiful, so we were able to collect a good quantity each, which we then went on to spend the afternoon cleaning and cooking up into a fine feast. Mick, Ben & Mark
were the major contenders in the 'Masterchef 'cook off. Each preparing scallops a different way for the rest of us to enjoy. In my mind, I think they were all winners!!

I would like to thank everyone (divers & surface crew) that have
participated in the diving program throughout the winter months.
