Rye Pier - 26th March 2011

Divers: Deon, Mick, Wolf, Mark & Vikki
Surface crew: Sue

Visibility: Fantastic Water Temperature: 21 degrees

The Visibility under Rye Pier last Saturday was pretty close to the best I've ever seen there. And to top it off, there were so many Seahorses under the pier we soon lost count\'85.really!! An abundance of Hermit Crabs were scurrying along the sea bed, whilst a cute Mosaic Leatherjacket had strategically placed itself against a pylon and thought that he was invisible. Mark's keen eye spotted a Velvet Fish which could have been easily missed because it, too, was camouflaged against a piece of timber. We also saw a Common Three Fin Fish, plus all the usual fish that you would expect to see, like Globe Fish, Goat Fish, and of course, a Stingray!!

Thanks to Deon for supplying these great photos.
