Sunny day, mild conditions, flat water, no current. It sounds like perfection\'85which it was except for the look on the diver's faces as they arrived and saw the access down the cliff to the shore. Upon further discussion, we decided that it wasn't as hard as Blairgowrie. The properly formed concrete steps and the asphalt path leading to the shore made for quite comfortable access to and from the site. Because we hadn't dived this site before we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of marine life thriving in this little bay. We saw lots of schools of fish, Leatherjackets, Old Wives, Zebra Fish, Goat Fish, Flathead and a couple of Sting Rays. This is definitely a site we will do again, now that we know the layout of the site. Next time we will have more time to spend looking at all the marine life living in the crevasses and ledges of the rocky, reefy strewn sea floor.
This was the last dive for our Summer Program. I would like to thank all the divers that have come along, and also our surface crew who help us each week. We have had a some great dives and some fun times debriefing over lunch each week. We will be continuing through winter with our Winter Program beginning on the 7th May.
