Portsea Hole 31st July

Saturday 31st July 2010 Portsea Hole

Divers: Deon, Mick, Barb, Marilyn, Victoria, Mark, Jared, Vikki
Surface Crew: Sue

Water Temperature: 14 degrees Visibility: 10m

Even though we thought that the conditions were going to be a bit dodgy, the closer we got to Portsea, the more pleasant the weather became. With the sun shining, we arrived at Portsea Hole right on slack water.
This very popular dive site was full of marine life. Beautiful corals, grasses and fish make this site one of the most spectacular in the bay. For those thinking that it is too cold to dive in winter, I suggest that you give it a go ....you may be pleasantly surprised, just ask any of the guys who have been diving continuously throughout winter (in wetsuits!!).
