Strong south/westerly's stop any chance of getting out through The Heads, so we made the best of what we had. We had planned a 25 minute bottom time which gave us plenty of time to look around, we decided to go for a swim over the sand & see what we could find. One thing, apart from more sand, that we found was a lost pony bottle complete with regs, it had been there for a couple of months & I feel it will just end up in the bin, however it was fun at the time. The low tides mean longer slacks & this one seemed longer than usual, even after 30 minutes of ascent we were still only 200 meters from the shot line.
