Last Saturday the 'Summer Diving Program' divers headed down to Portsea to do a boat dive. We had near perfect conditions to dive Portsea Hole. Sunny sky, no wind, slack water and excellent vis all added up to one fabulous dive! Looking deep into the crevasses and ledges we saw Blue Devils, Old Wives, Horseshoe Leatherjackets, mating crabs & 2 decent sized cuttlefish. The top of the wall is also very interesting with the fascinating variety of invertebrate life that can be found, an absolute paradise for the underwater photographers. It was a good opportunity for us to get in a dive with a more depth than we can get on a shore dive and also a chance to practice our safety stops. Blueberry & white chocolate muffins were our special treat on the boat after the dive. . . . . . a great way to finish a great day!!!
