Takis & I had both made some major changes to our rebreather setup. So, as experienced divers we thought the smart thing to do would be a nice easy shore dive just to make all would work as expected. Which it did I might add!! Anyone wanting to know more rebreathers should drop in for a chat, they are not as complicated as they may first appear and they are defiantly the way of the future in diving in Melbourne. I have being singing the praises of Mornington Pier for some time now, it's always been a great dive, but ever since the building works have started some really cool bottles are turning up. Wait until 4.30 - 5pm when the workers knock off and take a swim around where the tugs have been. I picked up a nice Cottees bottle and because its been buried under the sand it is in great nick.
The Cottee's factory was in Chesterville Rd Cheltenham up until about 1978.
Passiona one of the all time favourites, along with Coco-Cola's TAB!!! Even in 1966 we could get 5 cents back on the bottle - now that's what I call recycling!!!
