Some of us did the GIANT!!! stride into the water. The rest of us passed our gear down the wall and entered the water via the ladder. Either way we all ended up in the water raring to get another dive under our belt. The vis wasn't all that good either side of the pier, but under the pier the vis improved to about 8m.The divers who bought their cameras along snapped a huge variety of marine life, including a Cuttlefish, schools of Squid, Whiting, Old Wives and Wrasse. The pylons were alive with Blennies, Sea Biscuits, Crabs and Sea Horses. This was a great dive to bring along a torch. Not only so you can see all the creatures hiding in the crevices of the rock wall, but in such reduced visibility it was great for buddies to be easily able to locate each other by looking for the beam of light shining from their torch. After the dive we all agreed that we were starving so we headed off for Pizza. Maybe we could rename ourselves as the "eyes are bigger than our bellies" Shore Divers????? Coz there was enough pizza left over to feed a small third world country!!
