Last Sunday we dived Mordiaslloc Pier for our Photography course. With the weather the last few weeks being so go we chose to go to Mordialloc as the visibility was good and conditions perfect. Like most of the sites though up the top end of the bay the fish life at the minute has moved out and wont be seen back until October. This leave us with mostly Macro things which is great for our photgraphy course. As soon as you put your head down in the shallows, small flathead and flounder were numerous out on the sand. The flathead being very shy and elusive making it harder to get pics, luckily the flounder were more obliging. As we moved down the pier we came across sea horses, decorator crabs, stinkfish, squid, weedfish, blennies and still hanging around some smaller schools of baitfish. Condition. After the dive we headed back to the shop for a BBQ .
