J1 Sub Feb 7th

Water Temperature: 18\'b0C
Visibility: 20m
Divers: Darren, James, Andy, & Mark
The talk was that the outside dives may not run due to the swell, however once out through the Rip, the conditions were quite OK. Darren & I decided to run a line through the sub just for the practice. The J1 is the broken Sub & this is where we enter, swimming towards the stern Darren does a great job of laying the line - because he practices. We get to the crew quarters, turn around & retrieve the line. I undo the tie offs as Daz reels in, when we get back to the exit point there is a small fish, maybe a Juvenile Leatherjacket, with our line in his mouth & he's trying to swim off with it!! With plenty of Bottom Time left we decide to check out the bow, exiting just in time start our ascent.
