Saturday 11th December 2010 Flinders Jetty
Water Temperature: 18 Degrees Visibility: 5m
Divers: Peter, Diane, Bernice, Mel, Deon, Bek, Youri, Mark, Vikki
As you can see by the attached photos, the sun was trying to shine through, and the water was calm with very little current. As soon as we descended we immediately started spotting the Seedy Weadragons. Honestly . . . . its times like these that you need extra fingers and toes to count them all on!!! The sighting of a couple Weedys that were carrying eggs assured us just how healthy the marine environment is under the jetty. Stingrays, Nudibranchs, Goat Fish, numerous varieties of weed and pylons thriving with marine life all add up to one great dive.Peter bought along his 'wizz bang' video camera and took such great footage that he reckons he's going to try and sell it to National Geographic!!!!.
If you think that the weather isn't looking good for diving, trust us . . . . every week we will be diving at the site with the best available conditions . . . . so come along!!!
