Coogee and J4 - February 26th

Divers: Gary, Deon, Robert, Andy & Mark
Viz: 8-10m
In near perfect conditions we motored out through the Heads, we have 2 dives to complete today and I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be than out here diving in these conditions. Bass Straight is largely regarded as one of the worst stretches of water in the world, however it can also be one of the most spectacular and today it's spectacular!! Our Coogee dive sees us swim from the stern towards the bow, swimming between the boilers as we go, then over the hatch coaming's around the bow and then back to shot line. Unfortunately our J4 dive had us dropped at the stern of the boat and we had to swim the full length to get to where we needed to be, this took up some of our valuable bottom time, however being a little bit shallower than the Coogee we still managed to complete all of required tasks and still make back to the shot line for our ascent.
